When you get in touch
We collect the name, email address or mobile number, message and any photos you choose to send. We use them to answer your enquiry and discuss your items. You do not need an account to enquire.
Photos and sensitive details
Please send photos of the garment, shoes, label or relevant wear, rather than people. Don’t include bank details, identity documents or other sensitive information in a general enquiry. The form resizes photos before upload and omits original location metadata.
Where messages go
Messages and photos are saved in SWAYE’s private enquiry inbox for the authorised shop team. They are not shown publicly or added to a public collection. Our website hosting and storage providers process them to run this service.
Your consignor account
If you choose to use the portal, we link your signed-in account to your own consignor record using an invitation. We store the account identifier, email and access status for that connection. The portal displays your items, recorded sales, refunds and payouts directly from our shop records. Other consignors cannot see them. The current draft uses Sign in with ChatGPT, which manages sign-in under its own privacy terms. We can revoke an account connection if needed.
Keeping your information
We keep enquiry information for as long as it is needed to answer you and manage any related consignment. We don’t add enquiry contacts to a marketing list without separate permission.
Your choices
You can ask to see or correct your information, or ask about deleting an enquiry, by contacting hello@swaye.co.nz. We may need to check your identity before sharing or changing records.
Basic website protection
The enquiry form uses a short-lived security cookie and limited request records to prevent misuse. The cookie is not used for advertising. The site does not use advertising trackers. Following a map or social-media link takes you to that provider’s own website and privacy terms.
